Description PRODUCER: Pushing back the boundaries – that’s exactly what we’re doing with these voluptuous fruit-packed wines. For those wine lovers who prefer the frankness of a single varietal to the erudition of a blend. The winemaker has taken parcels of fruit from across South Australia’s sun-drenched vineyards and crafted wines of maximum freshness. They are the ultimate expression of varietal, and the perfect entry into Aussie wines. VINEYARD: Sourced from vineyards throughout the Riverina region on vines which have been spur pruned. The vines are planted at approximately 1.8 metres apart with 3.6 metres between the rows, to allow machinery access. The soil styles in the vineyards are varied, with each terroir adding its own characteristic to the final wine. WINEMAKING: The grapes were harvested at optimal maturity and fermented with selected yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, in order to preserve the pure fruit flavours. TASTING NOTE: Aromas of gentle vanilla spice and white pepper, medium bodied with fresh and minty plum fruit flavours. GRAPES: Shiraz / Syrah 100%.
